Poster Board Network Media Kit

The City of Winnipeg operates a growing poster board network featuring 30 snap frames installed in 15 high-attendance community facilities. Hundreds of thousands of Winnipeggers attend our facilities every year for library programs and services, leisure/active living programming, participating in competitive sport, fitness services, and as spectators.

1 Advertisers have the option of either submitting their installation-ready advertisement (per our submission requirements) or submitting a print-ready advertisement file (per our submission requirements) and paying a fee to have us print it.

2 Ad changes are done monthly and new artwork must be submitted and approved before the end of the calendar month.

Submission Requirements

Frame-ready submissions

  • Finished ad poster supplied by advertiser to the City for installation only
  • Finished sizes:
    • 16" wide x 20" high
    • 18" wide x 24" high
  • Note: keep important text/elements at least .375" from edge
    • This area is blocked due to snapping mechanism that holds ad poster in place

Print-ready submissions

  • Ad file supplied by advertiser to the City for printing and installation
  • PDF: high quality, print resolution
  • All images and elements used must be:
    • CMYK
    • 300 dpi–minimum. Lower resolution can mean lower quality of the finished product.
  • Sizes:
    • 16" W x 20" H and additional .125" bleed
    • 18" W x 24" H and additional .125" bleed
    • Must have crop/trim marks
  • Colour matching
    • We can’t guarantee 100% colour accuracy when printing your file, therefore, if you require exact colour matching, we advise you submit a frame-ready ad instead

Deadlines

Frame-ready submissions:

  • 5 business days before the end of calendar month

Print-ready submissions:

  • 10 business days before the end of calendar month
