Turf Damage

Turf damage is an unfortunate by-product of clearing snow from City streets.  In areas zoned for residential The City right of way (City property) extends a minimum of 3 meters from the street curb to your property line.  Every spring the City repairs turf damage that occurred during the preceding snow removal season.  If the turf on the right of way abutting your property has been damaged by snow clearing equipment please contact 311 and ask to be placed on the seed and soil repair list.  The City does not compensate citizens for costs related to the repair of the City Right-of Way.
