Neil Happychuk

In Memory of Neil Happychuk

Neil Happychuk, a retired member of the Winnipeg Police Service (WPS), tragically passed away while ice fishing, with his faithful dog Storm by his side. Storm was adopted by Neil through the Winnipeg Police Service K9 Breeding Program and remained his constant companion.

This tribute has been established at the request of Neil’s family, who invite you to consider a donation in honour of Neil and Storm. At their request, donations will support the Winnipeg Police Service Canine Fund and the Underwater Search and Recovery Unit in updating specialized underwater search technology—technology that proved critical in locating and bringing Neil and Storm home to their family.

This technology will continue to support the Underwater Search and Recovery Unit in returning others to their loved ones in times of loss, leaving a lasting legacy in Neil and Storm’s honour.

Donations can be made via credit card by filling in the information below and clicking on the Payment button.
