St. Anne's Road Renewal

St. Anne's Road is an important truck, Transit, and commuter route. We will renew the road and part of the watermain in 2025.

Background

St. Anne's Road is an important truck, Transit, and commuter route. We will renew the road and part of the watermain in 2025.

The goal of this work is to fix the road and improve safety. We will:

  • Renew the watermain from St. Mary's Road to Humboldt Avenue
  • Improve the roadway from St. Mary's Road to Fermor Avenue
    • Remove the existing asphalt and repair the concrete road pavement
    • Repair curbs and sidewalks
    • Construct a new layer of asphalt
  • Upgrade pedestrian crossings at Varennes Avenue and Imperial Avenue

At Varennes Avenue:

  • We will upgrade the pedestrian crossing to a pedestrian traffic signal
  • The pedestrian traffic signal uses standard red, amber, and green traffic signals to stop vehicle traffic on St. Annes but will only be activated when a pedestrian pushes the button

At Imperial Avenue:

  • We will build a new push button pedestrian crossing with flashing lights

If you have questions about the project, please contact Mark Vogt at Mark.Vogt@wsp.com
