When you start out in Waze you will be a "baby Wazer" and for the first week or so you will be driving with a soother! But as you report incidents and hazards and become more of a member of the community, you will lose the soother and gain more credibility. This then allows you to do even more reporting and become a more trusted user. You will even unlock more features and tools and you will be able to pick a different character and change it based on your mood if you prefer!

Data from your trip gets pooled with other users and the average speed for that street is produced. You never provide information relating to your specific speed.
