Cockburn East CSO Master Plan projects

We will be changing the combined sewer system in the Cockburn East sewer district in the coming years. This work is part of the Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Master Plan. It will reduce basement flooding and the number of combined sewer overflows in the area.

While we are still in the early planning stages, we know the work will include some of the following:

Construction of new land drainage and wastewater sewers
Optimization of the existing sewer infrastructure
Use of green infrastructure solutions

The green infrastructure solutions we chose will be customized to meet the needs of this sewer district.
