Brady 4R Winnipeg Depot

The Brady 4R Winnipeg Depot is intended for residential customers only.

  • Commercial customers will continue to use the main entrance to Brady Road Resource Management Facility
  • Residential customers will no longer use the tipping face at the landfill
  • The Brady location is the only 4R Winnipeg Depot that will accept garbage

Only the following vehicles/attachments may use the 4R Winnipeg Depots:

  • Cars
  • Pickup trucks
  • Vans
  • Single axle utility trailers (self-dumping trailers must be unloaded manually)

Vehicles pulling trailers with more than one axle will not be admitted the 4R Winnipeg Depots. Customers with these types of attachments must use the main landfill entrance at the Brady Road Resource Management Facility. Tipping fees will apply to the entire load.

Customers must unload their own vehicles—please plan ahead.

Accepted materials

Recycling and Reuse - free drop off

All materials on the accepted materials list will be accepted for free drop off.

New! For a limited time, we are accepting mattresses and box springs for free recycling at the Brady 4R Winnipeg Depot. Learn more about this program.

Garbage - there is a fee per tonne of garbage dropped off (with a minimum charge)

Materials that currently cannot be recycled, reused, composted or resold will be accepted for disposal in the garbage area for a fee.

Payment options are cash, debit or credit card.

The Brady 4R Winnipeg Depot is currently operating under winter hours.

Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

*Season start and end dates are subject to change, depending on the weather.

The Brady 4R Winnipeg Depot is open every day except:

  • January 1 (New Year's Day)
  • November 11 (Remembrance Day)
  • December 25 (Christmas Day)

Cover your load

Be sure to cover and secure your load to prevent any contents from escaping while you are transporting your garbage. According to the Solid Waste By-law, you can be charged a fee, in addition to the disposal fee, if your garbage is not properly secured or covered. The only exception to this is for loads of clean fill.
