Winnipeg Safe City Steering Committee

Co-chaired by the Province of Manitoba - Status of Women Branch and the City of Winnipeg, the Winnipeg Safe City Steering Committee is comprised of stakeholders whose vast array of expertise contribute to the past, present and ongoing work of the Winnipeg Safe City Initiative. Information sharing and knowledge building are key components of this evolving network of individuals who remain committed to addressing, reducing and preventing violence against women and girls in public spaces. The Steering Committee meets approximately 4 times per year.
