Business Buddies

Business Buddies connects Winnipeg businesses with shelter dogs, offering them a chance to socialize and venture into the community. This initiative brings joy to your office while supporting adoption efforts.

Benefits

  • Enhance office morale and productivity with a four‑legged “intern”
  • Give a shelter dog a break from kennel life 
  • Support adoptable dogs by giving them positive exposure, and helping them build their confidence  
  • Support adoption efforts and community engagement

How to participate

  • Each business can have up to four designated employees
  • Choose a designated employee to be responsible for the pickup, well being, and return of the dog 
  • Designated employees will need to bring:
    • A form of personal identification to pick up 
    • Proof of employment or business ID
  • A Kennel Attendant will match you and your business with the most suitable dog
  • The Business Buddy can stay for an afternoon or up to a week
  • Overnight options are available with appropriate accommodation

All necessary supplies are included.
