The Infrastructure Planning Office provides leadership in managing the City’s infrastructure through the development and implementation of strategic programs and initiatives.
With Winnipeg’s population expected to grow to approximately 922,600 by 2040, ensuring the City makes sustainable investments in key services and infrastructure is important to support a growing, thriving, modern city. The Infrastructure Planning Office provides support in this regard by reviewing existing planning and strategy documents, and making policy recommendations based on strategic priorities.
