March 27, 2015 - Mayor Bowman issued the following statement on the death of Mr. Amaro Silva, former City Councillor for Daniel McIntyre from 1992 to 1998.

Canadian Junior Men’s curling team receives Mayor’s Award for Sports Excellence
March 27, 2015 - Today at City Hall, Mayor Brian Bowman presented the Canadian Junior Men’s curling team with the Mayor’s Award for Sports Excellence for their recent 6-3 gold medal win at the World Junior Men’s championship in Estonia.

Mayor Bowman delivers inaugural State of the City address
March 20, 2015 - Today, hosted by the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce at the RBC Convention Centre, Mayor Brian Bowman delivered his inaugural State of the City address as Winnipeg’s 43rd Mayor, focusing on a greater vision for the city as well as announcing five new upcoming ventures and a renewed request for Winnipeg’s fair share of the PST.
