List of licensed demolition contractors
The following is a list of all demolition contractors licensed by the City of Winnipeg. In order for a contractor to acquire a permit to demolish a building/structure or a part of a building/structure, the company must be on the list below. The presence of a name on the list does not confirm that a permit has been obtained. A demolition contractor licence is not required for residential accessory structures.
The only way to determine if a demolition contractor is authorized to demolish a specific structure in the city is to confirm that a demolition permit has been obtained for the project.

Demolition contractor licence types
- A D1 contractor licence allows a company to obtain permits to perform demolition work on any type or size of structure.
- A D2 contractor licence allows a company to obtain permits to perform demolition work on residential structures only (single/two family dwellings and row housing).
- A D-Prime contractor licence allows a company to obtain permits for demolition work where the work will be performed by:
- a D1 licensed contractor or
- a D2 licensed contractor
