#Whiskerpeg

Remarkably little is known about the cat known as #Whiskerpeg.

Yet #Whiskerpeg has become the most vocal cat rights activist promoting the licensing of cats in Winnipeg by contributing to Twitter feeds, Facebook and even posting online videos that encourage “equality for cats.”

#Whiskerpeg makes the argument that cats should be licensed for all the same reasons dogs are - most notably in case they are ever lost.

“Even an indoor cat can get outdoors,” states #Whiskerpeg. “If a license can help get that beloved pet home - without costing an owner money in fines and boarding fees - well, isn’t that worth just $15 a year?”

The heart of #Whiskerpeg’s message is clear: owners who love their cats will license their cats. It’s what their cats would want.

#Whiskerpeg continues to champion cat licensing to ultimately bring dog and cat owners together for a more “purrfect world” for pets.
