Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada’s findings of the Indian Residential Schools to be available at the Winnipeg Public Library

The Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) of Canada held its regional closing events throughout the nation. Winnipeg held its TRC closing event on June 2 at The University of Winnipeg, when the Commission released its findings on the Canadian Indian Residential Schools by way of gathering testimonies and stories from those who were involved with the schools.
The Commission is still yet to release its final report. However, the four following documents have been released:
- Executive Summary
- Principles
- Survivors Speak - a compilation of testimonies from those were placed in IRS
- Calls to Action - the 94 recommendations of the Commission
Winnipeg Public Library has ordered multiple copies of the above documents and will be available to the public as they receive them.
