We will repair Dugald Road from Plessis Road to Ravenhurst Street. We will be removing the asphalt and putting a new, thicker layer of asphalt.
We will improve traffic safety at the intersection by adding new right-turn and left-turn lanes.
The construction budget is around $8 million. It is part of our annual road renewal program.
We will maintain one lane of traffic in each direction throughout construction. There will be a few times where we have to completely close the road for short durations. This is to allow the contractor to pave the road. Truck and traffic detours will be set up. Message boards will also be set up with dates to help let everyone know before the closures happen.
