Tree Pest Caterpillar treatment crews will only be treating selected streets within each IMA that have or are at risk of significant defoliation. Not all streets within an IMA will be treated.

IMAs to be sprayed will be announced at least 8 hours in advance of spraying operations.

The City of Winnipeg controls forest tent caterpillar and cankerworms on City-owned trees using the biological insecticide Foray® 48B (Foray® 48B Label / Foray® 48B SDS).
