Park rentals
All City parks offer rentable space for your special event.
These spaces and picnic sites range in size and can accommodate groups from 10 to 10,000 people. Different sites offer varying degrees of service and secondary amenities to suit many event needs.
All spaces are free to use on a first-come, first-served basis. However, we recommend renting a space when you're planning an event with more than 10 people.
This is better than just showing up for a few reasons:
- Pre-booking a park or picnic site gives you exclusive use of the space
- It helps ensure the space is reserved for your group
- It allows us to work out any special requests and ensure you have the right permits and insurance (these are required for things like tents, bouncers, fireworks, and music)
- It provides us the ability to communicate with you if any issues arise (and vice versa)
Please ensure you have a copy of your rental confirmation available the day of your event.
If you are unable to access a reserved site because it is otherwise occupied:
- Please present your permit to the occupants
- If they are not cooperative or refuse to move, please do not allow the situation to escalate
- Instead, find an alternate site and contact the booking office on the next business day for a refund
Parks are minimally staffed on evenings and weekends. On-site staff are not trained in conflict resolution.
