Commercial permits

Commercial permits allow work to be done on properties, such as:

  • office buildings
  • apartments or condominiums
  • stores
  • restaurants
  • warehouses
  • industrial facilities

Some projects, like electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or demolition work, need a licensed contractor to apply for the permit. These contractors must be licensed by the City of Winnipeg.
