- All buildings with a fire alarm system
- Demolition and construction sites
- Storage areas
- Areas where flammable liquids or combustible liquids are stored or handled
- Areas where hazardous processes or operations occur
A fire safety plan is required by Manitoba Fire Code to be developed by the building owner, business owner or property manager or contractor.
Supervisory staff is required to be trained in the fire emergency procedures described in the fire safety plan.
The fire safety plan shall be kept in the building for reference by the fire department, supervisory staff and other personnel.
