The Golf Services website is now mobile-friendly.

Winnipeg golfers can now navigate a refreshed, mobile-friendly Golf Services website – whether accessing the site from a smart phone, tablet, or desktop computer.

“We redesigned our website to offers customers an easier way to access the golf information they want,” said Ben Fey, Golf Services General Manager.

You can now look up images and descriptions of each hole at our golf courses on the new website.

Whatever your interest and skill level, you’re sure to get into the swing of things at one of these municipal golf courses.

Crescent Drive

Crescent Drive is a 9-hole, par-3 golf course, offering a true challenge for players of all skill levels.

“Even though the course is great for newer golfers, experienced golfers who want to work on their short game sometimes find it can be tricky to break par,” said Fey.

The entire course is well treed, making it challenging to place a tee shot on the green on many holes. Golfers tend to enjoy the final hole, as it both short and features a difficult green.

Kildonan Park

Winnipeg's oldest municipal golf course, Kildonan Park was established in 1921. Situated on the banks of the Red River, it features fairways and greens in superb condition, with lush vegetation that only time can bestow. The course features a unique experience at the 10th hole, with a train bridge. Golfers have to decide to hit over or under the bridge to hit the green on this par-3.

Kildonan Park’s 12th hole is another popular challenge, being a tough par-4 with some great vistas including an elevated tee, large trees, and a spacious green.

Windsor Park

Nestled between the heart of St. Boniface and St. Vital and lying along the Seine River, Windsor Park challenges golfers to keep the ball in play as the river crosses or runs laterally on eight of 18 holes. Thickly treed with rolling terrain makes a round of golf at Windsor Park a visually appealing experience.

The fun gets started at the first hole. With an elevate tee area, lots of trees, and a water hazard, it is a high risk/high reward hole where strong golfers can reach the green on the short par-4, while also having to navigate water and trees. As well, the 12th hole is popular as it involves a shorter par-4 with a forced layup due to the river running across the fairway.
